We’re all searching for something in this life and if it had to be narrowed down it’s probably love, sex and success. As part of the ForeverLoved team, I can’t promise you success and I certainly can’t promise sex, but I can promise you love.
I can promise you a love that performed miracles, that cast out fear and sickness, a love that died and on the third day rose from the grave just to prove that death has no hold on us. It’s the love of the Father and it is available for all.
The love of God is so selfless that He gave his only son for us so that we may live in eternal life with Him (John 3:16). The love of God is so merciful that He took our sin and put it upon the cross so that we may be free to approach Him, free of sin, for the first time. The love of God is so vast that it stretched across time, from the very beginning when He said “let there be light”, to you reading this right now.
I feel confident in promising you God’s love because it is afforded to all of us, and there is no criteria we must fulfil to enter His presence. You don’t have to be “good enough” to be a loved child, you have already been chosen, even with all your flaws and imperfections. Jeremiah 1:5 says that God knew each of us before we were even formed in the womb, and before birth He had set us apart and appointed us to speak on His behalf to the nations. God loves us enough to place purpose upon our lives, way before we know how to act upon it, because He knows (and we often forget this!) that He will be with us every step of the way.
This post is an invitation to you to accept the love of God and to walk into your destiny as a child of God.
Father God, I thank you that all you’ve ever wanted is to love us and to have a relationship with us. Even though we are not worthy to have such a personal relationship with someone so holy, you see worth in us. I pray that everyone reading this, who is not experiencing your saving love, will feel your presence and know, without doubt, that the creator of the Heavens and the Earth, has chosen them, wants them and will always, always love them. Amen.
